eProcesses Consulting began mentoring and investing in early stage ventures in 2001. Our current philosophy is reflected at the Southern California Accelerator website. That philosophy starts with Standards to help identify successful strategies for taking innovative products and technologies to market. We source and screen promising innovation opportunities through our Analytics Engine. When we agree to terms of engagement with an entrepreneur, eProcesses Consulting, as Accelerator Advisors, shapes and shepherds the new venture. We help the entrepreneur move toward Sellability, for some or all of the investors, and start the process again.
Our shaping process includes competitive, financial, operational, and leadership analytics that assess strategic market positioning, market and financial potential, and organizational design. A key deliverable is a business model and plan with a preliminary valuation for funding. We then help the entrepreneur identify funding strategies and sources to bring the innovation to market. Our business plans take many forms and are of many sizes. We help the entrepreneur create dynamic business plans for operating, marketing, and financial success; a private placement memoranda, when appropriate; an innovation strategy; and a financing strategy.
The Shaping and Shepherding philosophy results, in part, from 28 years of consulting experience with companies large and small on every continent except Australia and Antartica (as of 2013). For more detail on this process, see Sustainability.
