Lead Consultant, Engineering and Technology, Department of research & development, eProcesses Consulting Inc., (Jun 2014-present), San Diego, CA, United States
Main tasks: As a lead consultant my tasks are mostly devoted to perform literature review and thus propose novel products with proper contributions to the market state-of-the-art. I would then supervise consultants in order to design and build prototypes of these products.
The current project is on water quality monitoring and control with the main focus on residential scale and brewery applications.

Project: In a broader biofuel production framework, modeling and control of microalgae growth process.
Research Intern, Electronics and equipment control section, CERN, (Mar-Jul 2010),Geneva, Switzerland
Main tasks: Developed an estimation strategy for adaptive position estimation in a sensorless stepper motor, building upon (Extended) Kalman Filtering techniques; principal modules: 1) basic concept, 2) prototype and simulator in Simulink, 3) implementation on C++, and 4) extensive testing, i.e., in different configurations, in simulation (using Monte-Carlo simulations) and real world application.

Research Intern, Automation and control systems group, ABB corporate research center, (September 2008-August 2009), Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland
Main tasks: Developed an estimation and control strategy for adaptive model-predictive level control, including 1) basic concept, 2) prototype and simulator, 3) implementation on an ABB software platform, and 4) extensive testing. Created a comprehensive scientific software library in VBScript containing numeral subroutines required in control algorithms, g., signal processing.
Realized dynamical analyses of different configurations of rotating machines.
Administered and maintained a server containing scientific softwares.
