Since 2009, Dr. John Bryan has served as a doctoral dissertation editor for approximately 100 published dissertations. , I have two options. The first option is that I can edit your proposal and then your dissertation as a package or I can edit your proposal only or your dissertation only. The fee for the dissertation covers from the time your committee’s changes are addressed and I do my first review to the time the university publishes your dissertation after review. I do APA, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure edits and, when necessary, I reduce excessive passive voice. If you need editing before you send to the committee, I can do that for an additional $300 for the proposal or for the dissertation.
I have done enough work on Phoenix, Concordia, Walden, and other universities that I have seen plenty of feedback from university reviewers to know what is not covered in their respective style guides. I chair 28 dissertation committees for three universities, but I do not serve as an editor for students at those three universities.
Please make sure that each of your committee members agrees the document is ready for an editor and agrees that the document needs changes other than editing. You can let me know that it is ready for review by replying with your attached manuscript. After you pay the invoice by credit card, I will begin work and typically return it to you within 3-5 working days.
